FAQ

JAKE FAAS

Owner & Trainer

WHY IN-HOME TRAINING?

Dogs are very contextual and often display different behaviors depending on where they are. Working in the environment where they feel most comfortable and spend their time makes it easier to address problem behaviors and to teach new ones.

HOW MANY SESSIONS DOES IT TAKE?

The number of sessions all depends on the goals and expectations. Each dog is different on how they progress so we have it setup session by session without being bound to a package.

HOW DO I PAY?

Payments are taken after the session via card, cash, or check.

WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY?

Usually we are booked 1-2 weeks. But, with being a smaller dog training company it allows more flexibility when scheduling.

WHAT METHODS DO YOU USE?

We use balanced training methods, using both classical and operant conditioning depending on the behavior we are trying to encourage or discourage. Being able to use all our resources helps us tailor the approach for the individual dog and owner.

WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY?

Usually we are booked 1-2 weeks. If something is urgent we can typically get you in within the week.

DO YOU OFFER CLASSES?

Yes, we do have outdoor classes when the weather permits usually spring-fall.  The classes we offer are All Things Leash Walking, How to Build a Reliable Recall, and others.

HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?

We go where the dogs are!  Mainly servicing the Twin Cities and surrounding area.  Depending on where you are located there might be an additional $10-$20 for travel.
